Join Us

This page has all of the information on how to get involved with us here at Trinity English, from groups to membership to midday prayers. We welcome anyone who wants to be a part of our community!

Midday Prayers

Connect with others on a midday Zoom chat, Monday - Friday, at 11:45AM EST. This will last between 10 to 15 minutes and involves a quick Bible reading and a place to share our prayer requests and what's on our minds as we join with others to anchor our day for a few minutes.

Become a Member

Once you’ve chosen to be part of Trinity, you might consider becoming an official member of our congregation. The only requirements are baptism* and instruction in the faith.

*Lutherans recognize one baptism, meaning if you’ve already been baptized into the Christian faith, you do not get “re-baptized.”

New member classes are held regularly.

As a member of the congregation, you are eligible to vote on important matters in the life of the congregation, such as the calling of new pastors or the capital commitment to large construction projects.

Join A Group

Trinity has many ways for you to find your purpose, interest, or people as you create your own connections within our community. Find opportunities that fit your lifestyle and time availability, or come up with an idea for something new - we’d love to hear from you!

Groups for Women

  • WELCA is Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. We follow the tagline: Women gathering to show the love of Jesus Christ. WELCA at Trinity offers many programs throughout the year. Some of our programs are social gatherings. Others offer educational opportunities. WELCA support women and children in our community through Wellspring, Redemption House, Byron Wellness  Community, A Baby's Closet, Journey with Mothers, and Just Neighbors.

We are active in Church Women United in Fort Wayne.

We reach out to the world community through providing Health Kits and Quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

For more information, please contact Cindy Goshert at cindygoshert@frontier.com.

  • All women over the age of 21 are invited to join us for meaningful conversation, light-hearted, informal socializing, and a glass of wine or dinner if so inclined. We gather at different downtown restaurants each month at 5:30PM to place food and beverage orders, and then the conversation starts. Seated at tables of 3-4, we each take a turn with the provided question cards to share our thoughts with our group, building authentic relationships with one another. We usually finish up before 7:30PM.

Wine & Wisdom meets regularly on the first Tuesday every month, so mark your calendars; we hope you can join us as often as you are able, and bring a friend or two! To see where we are meeting next, check out our events page.
