I believe community is built by holding space for the holistic needs of others — listening to their stories, honoring their experiences, and embracing holy vulnerability. We create community through “centering” others — especially those who are suffering — by choosing their well-being over the need to be right, responding with empathy, and working with open hearts toward progress.

Community is where we may encounter hurt, but also where healing takes place. It’s where we recognize each person's unique gifts — as comforters, mentors, dreamers, and doers. None of us exists independently; we are called to bear one another’s burdens and pursue repair and restoration together.

Community says: “It shouldn’t have to happen to you for it to matter to you.” It invites us into the dedicated work of beginning again and again, while paying attention to who God is and how God is working in our midst.
